Evangeline is in to everything, I love this one of her under a table. |

Morning play time in her Mizzou Onesie. |
Evangeline is close to 21 lbs, however,
this month she had a stomach flu and lost a lot of weight. It was so
hard for Greg and I to watch her sick, but with a lot of extra love and
sleep she's almost fully recovered. I cannot believe I have a walking 10-month-old. She babbles and loves to dance. She's very fast.

Only two months until her birthday! Time goes by so quickly. I
remember the last two months of my pregnancy very clearly, but they
seemed more like two years than two months.
This month we visited
Greg's mom-- Nana Candy--and Grandnana in Florida.
To
wrap up the summer, we went on a portion of the Missouri Wine Tour.
Well two of ten stops, Evangeline did not make it very far. We also
celebrated a year in Missouri and of knowing our friends Brenda and
Kyle, by going to Chipotle--where we first went the Saturday of birth class. I also happened to be Brenda's birthday.

We spent the week before classes cleaning up around the house and
wrapping up summer projects. Evangeline got some quality mom and dad
time in. Greg even painted the wall of the back porch and installed a
new baby gate in the basement.

Evangeline loves to read on the Ipad with Greg in the morning and play her Dora alphabet game of course. |
Evangeline went to her first two birthday parties this month for our neighbors Arlen and Sophie. She loved playing with all the kids.

Greg and I also started back to work and school this week. So having a sick baby and starting work/school made the week extra hard on our family.
It's the end my first official week in the Missouri Journalism Ph. D program. Although I am tired and my brain is a bit overloaded, I am so glad to have this opportunity. During orientation I made some new friends, and learned a lot about myself and Mizzou (that I did not know even though I've lived her over a year now).
I'm going to be spotty with blogging with the graduate school commitments, but I'll try my best to post something here periodically to keep you all updated.
