Twelth Night

Its 12th Night and I'm reflecting on 2014 and this holiday season. This past year went by so quickly. I have so little free time it is amazing. One child is a big commitment, but two children and two dissertations is beyond what I could have ever imagined.

We have accomplished so much this year, but it feels like so little and at 31 years old I wonder if I will ever have a time in my life that is even close to this busy again (I hope and pray it slows down a little). The number of jobs I am applying for, and Greg has applied for perplexes me. We are both constantly on call, stopping only for two hours or so for sleep right now.

Sorry this is so short, but I'm so out of energy. Trying to make it to the next step.

In Summer...

Our summer has been swell so far. Greg, Evangeline and I got a great vacation in Texas and Seattle. We got some quality time with family and friends and were able to recuperate for a crazy June. I'll post a few different posts with photos from our trip.

We took three weeks and drove down to Texas, and then Greg and I went to Seattle for work, and to celebrate out eight-year anniversary. Here's some highlights from our trip. Hard to believe we have less than 2 months until P-Nut arrives!

Playing at Lake LBJ with Aunt Cate.

More photos from Catie and Danny's wedding

Here are a few more photos from Catie and Danny's Wedding that my cousin Rachel took. Rachel is so talented and she's a great photographer. Some of my favorite photos from family gatherings are ones that she took. Sadly, I'm just now getting around to sharing them. I'm really glad because I did not have any of our family from the wedding. Thanks again Rachel.

Love this girl.

Springtime Wedding in Texas

Spa day with my sisters, mother and aunt to prepare for the wedding.
Last weekend my first little sister, Catelyn, got married. It was a great wedding and we got to spend some great quality time with my family and get to know Daniel's family as well. It's weird to think of my sister as being married and having a new last name but I am so happy for her. We got to spend more time together than we have in a long time, and it was great to see her so happy. That said I can't wait to see her again. Here are some photos from our adventures last weekend.
